I love black and white photography. Its very powerful, and emotional. With that said, I’m going to try to stick to just posting black and white photos for the month. Part of this is to learn more about black and white processing, and part is that I have to challenge myself to get better at this if I ever want to make it a full-time gig. With that said, here’s a photo from a recent walk around North Beach.
I’m putting Sunsets for Sarah on hiatus over here, Meg has a few shots from her trip that she has lined up to continue the tradition. Check DaveAndMeghann.com on Friday’s this month for the feature.

Fatherly care, originally uploaded by davebcohen.
While we were home for the holidays we spent a great deal of time with the Boyle’s. Happened to snap this shot of John and Steph. It pretty much captures everything you need to know about John as a father.

I’ve been working on putting together a portfolio of my photos. I like the current stage that it is in so here’s a link to it http://dbcohen.com/portfolio/. There are bigger plans yet to be unleashed, but I’d love to get some initial feedback on it. I put it together by using SlideShowPro and Lightroom.

UPDATE: Things seem to be a little better now. A hard refresh has fixed the issue on my end.
Zooomr is having some massive issues after a backend update last night, and because of that there are a bunch of images I have blogged on this site that are also screwed up so bear with me till Zooomr is fixed.
